Received a Lotus Award for Outstanding Customer Satisfaction in Northeast IOT
As IBM told us some days before Matthias Knäpper received an award for 2011 for his training activies during the last years. Many thanks to IBM and Lotus for the last decade offering trainings and projects together with us that makes outstanding customer satisfaction possible.
We hope to be able to offer a lot of trainings in the future to help customers to enhance their skills all around Lotus Software.

 Symphony Viewer for iOS Devices Pulished
Today 2011-12-12 IBM published a viewer for ODF-documents on iOS devices.
Description
With the IBM® Lotus® Symphony Viewer you can view Open Document Format (ODF) text documents, presentations, and spreadsheets downloaded to your phone or tablet without the need for any network connection. Launch the viewer directly from the application icon and choose an ODF file to view, or select Symphony when you want to view a document.

 Lotus Notes/ Domino 8.5.3 German Version released
Yesterday IBM released group 1 national languages of Lotus Notes/ Domino. This release contains german languages as well.
E-assemblies are available since yesterday. |
IBM offers XPages Coruseware for free
IBM opens up to OCW (OpenCourseWare movement) and offers the material for their "Introduction to IBM Lotus Domino 8.5 XPages" course D8l55 for free @ Lotus Greenhouse. As Ed Brill, IBMs Director for Messaging and Colaboration, mentions this is IBM's step to support those, who want to start learn on xpages.

Error in Lotus Notes 8.5.3 <solved>
The unwanted behavior:
There is an bug in Lotus Notes 8.5.3 with Symphony 3 inbeded. If you install Notes 8.5.3 and you try to start an application Lotus Notes Application using Symphony classes you get the error message
Error loading USE or USELSX module: "*symphonycfglsx"
This error results from a USELSX statement in symphonylsx.lss file, which has to be included for using Symphony classes in Lotus Script. We are trying to solve this issue. If we find a solution we will post the solution here.
is solved at our site. We did an uninstall of designer client and reinstalled the software. Aftwards all functionalities returned immediately. |
